Artigianato&aperitivo. April 26th at 6:00PM the fourth urban trekking meeting in the Oltrarno

The “Vecchio Conventino” and the decorated wood by Tommaso De Carlo. Drinks at Dolce Vita Firenze.

Here we are at the fourth appointment with the event Artigianato&aperitivo: we meet on April 26th at 6:00PM in via Giano della Bella, 20. We will discover the history of a lesser known corner of Florence, the “Vecchio Conventino” (the old little convent) and we will visit the wood decoration workshops of Tommaso De Carlo to end our tour with a before dinner drink at Dolce Vita Firenze.

The “Vecchio Conventino”, build in 1896 and transformed in 1920 into a place devoted to the artisans’ bottegas, since 2016 houses the Officina Creativa, the new space in Florence entirely devoted to handicrafts and to art. We will visit the workshop of Tommaso De Carlo, one of the twenty artisans’ bottegas housed within the Officina Creativa, to discover under his guidance the art of wood decoration. Immediately afterwards, we will move on to the wonderful Piazza del Carmine to end our evenning with a glamourous drink at Dolce Vita Firenze.
