On June 6th, “Artigianato & aperitivo” will make room for “The gardens of the Oltrarno and to Beneforti’s art of restoration.” The initiative, promoted by Artex and “Andare a Zonzo,” includes a special stop at the Giardino delle Rose (the Rose Garden) where, accompanied by an expert guide, the history and the secrets of other gardens will be revealed. The itinerary will continue at the discovery of the historic and precious art of restoration, with a visit to the “Beneforti, Conservazione e Restauro di Opere d’Arte” workshop. The walk will end with a drink at “Volume” in the Piazza Santo Spirito. Meeting at 5:30PM at Piazzale Michelangelo.
“Artigianato & aperitivo” is an opportunity to practice urban trekking at the discovery of one of the most authentic neighborhoods of Florence, the Oltrarno, and of the Officina Creativa, the new space in this neighborhood entirely devoted to Florentine handicraft. The idea is to offer excursions to do after work with colleagues, friends, family or also by yourself, to allow yourself a walk at the discovery of the city and of the handicraft from new points of view and with the explanations of an expert guide. Each meeting has a theme and a visit to different bottega, in addition to the drink to end the visit.
The first series of “Artigianato & aperitivo” will end with the planned walk on June 20th, devoted to the “Piazze of the Oltrarno and the artisanal sandals of Calzaturificio Laudato.”
After this walk on June 6th, the next and last one is on June 20: “The piazzas of the Oltrarno and the artisanal sandals of Calzaturificio Laudato.”
The drinks at the end of the next itineraries with be offered at “Bar d’Angolo,” “Dolce Vita Firenze,” “Il S. Forno,” “il Santino,” “Volume Firenze”.
