In the valley of the Tiber, for many generations, the Gorfini family have been farming on 30 hectares of land, with biological agriculture methods. Their corn, ancient wheats and legumes crops are used to produce stoned ground high quality flours on site. Amongst the legumes that we grow we should mention the “zolfini”, the black-eye, and other bean varieties, black and pink chickpeas, multicolored lentils and grass peas; amongst the vegetables we wish to mention the white, yellow and red potatoes, the aglione (a large garlic variety), garlic, onions and winter squash. Beans, chickpeas and spelt are sold dried or cooked and vacuum packaged, ready to eat.
The shop/workshop in Anghiari, located in Località San Lorenzo 43, is open every day, from 8AM to 8PM. At the Mercatale - Mercato Coperto degli Agricoltori in Montevarchi, in Piazza dell’Antica Gora, is open from Monday to Saturday, from 9AM to 1PM and from 4PM to 8:30PM.
