Gionni and Paolo Pruneti are the fourth generation of an agricultural firm that has its origin in the mid-nineteenth century in San Polo in Chianti, in the heart of Tuscany. For Pruneti, high quality is strictly connected to giving value to the typical products of the land and to the control of the entire production chain. The Pruneti extra virgin olive oil is obtained from olives that come from the more than 26,000 plants on their property in the San Polo in Chianti area, all typical local varieties of olives. The various agricultural phases are performed with meticulous care because they believe that the quality of the olive oil will depend on how the fruits are followed during the entire production cycle. The “Salone dell’Olio” is the space that the firm has devoted to olive oil culture and where during the year it is possible to organize visit and tastings.
