The passion for antique wrought iron lead, twenty years ago, Gianni Rossi to open his workshop in the heart of the historical centre of Arezzo in the wonderful piazza Grande. The manual skill in the restoration of antique wrought iron and of other metals has improved over the years bearing fruit both from the research and the study as well as from the experiences learned and passed down from the old blacksmiths and artisans of Arezzo. Besides the restoration of traditional wrought iron like andirons, fireplace tools, beds or portcullis, with time Gianni has felt the need to get involved in the recovery of antique objects where the prevailing material became wood, thus toys and unusual tools have reacquired their original splendour. Traditional techniques together with research and experimentation that lead Gianni to restore well both the articles he sells independently in his workshop of piazza Grande and the ones that his customers commission and place in his skilful hands.
