Giuditta Viscardi was born in Bergamo but at a young age she moved, with her family, to Tuscany and this magnificent land will mark for ever her future and more specifically her work fulfilment. As self-taught she became involved in painting on ceramic, cooperating with some artisans in the area and, later, she refined her technique through painting courses, past with excellent results, at the Ceramics School of Montelupo Fiorentino. She creates her subjects using mainly the emotions and the colours of the splendid Tuscan territory: the slim cypresses that point to the sky, the soft and sinuous Chianti hills and the clays from Siena, the olives and the grapes that glorify Tuscany all over the world. Her production is composed of many furnishing and home accessories: vases, plates, lamps, table sets and more specifically frames and mirror units made with the mosaic technique. She produces any type of personalised decoration. The shop is in Monteriggioni (Castle) and is open all days from March to October. In November is open only on saturday and sunday. Closed from December to February. Opening hours: e 10-13 and 14,30-19.
