Francesca Lombardi, born in Florence in 1972, has been the owner since 2001 of a business that operates in the sector of restoration and handcrafted production of picture frames and furnishing accessories. After having completed her studies at the Art and Restoration School of Florence, she started her own workshop in Poggio a Caiano, right opposite one of the most prestigious Medicean villas. The objects produced in her workshop are made using handicraft techniques inherited from the ancient Florentine artistic tradition of gilding and decoration. Her activity as restorer and artist is well known in Italy and abroad, in fact her production is requested by the most esteemed antique dealers and interior designers. Among her first works, the restoration of the wooden coffered ceiling of the Church of Popiglio in Pistoia is included, with the cooperation of the School of Art and Restoration Palazzo Spinelli. During these years of activity, carried out with passion and dedication in launching her own production of picture frames and pure gold accessories and antique lacquers, Francesca Lombardi has never abandoned restoration, to which she is always dedicated with enthusiasm.
