Handicraft & Drinks: March 14 at 6:00PM the first urban trekking walk in the “Oltrarno”

“The history of San Frediano and the bronze of Banchi Duccio Bronzista”: on March 14th we start with the first itinerary on the program. We meet at 6:00PM in San Frediano, an opportunity to practice urban trekking discovering one of the most authentic neighborhoods of Florence, the Oltrarno.

During our walk, we will retrace the steps through which the area has developed over the centuries, but also we will discover its stories, its trades and the characters that have made it one of the most authentic and typical corners of the city of Florence.
The itinerary continues and we arrive in via dei Serragli with a visit to the bottega of Banchi Duccio Bronzista, the bronze caster being one of the oldest and most emblematic artisanal trades in Florence. Afterwards we get to the Porta San Frediano where beer master Daniele Venturi awaits to take the group to visit the Birrificio Artigianale Il Bovaro.
