From October 26th to the 28th, “eleMENTI CREATIVI”: discovering the secrets of the Florentine artisans.
The event “eleMENTI CREATIVI: discovering the secrets of the Florentine artisans” will start on Friday, October 26th at 5PM with the “opening in music” and will go on until Sunday, October 28th from 10AM to 8PM. It takes place at the Officina Creativa by Artex, the center for the artistic and traditional handicraft of Tuscany, in via Giano della Bella, 20 in Florence. The cloister of the Vecchio Conventino opens its doors to the public for a magical full immersion of creations, colors and flavors; three days to experience directly the Florentine passion for handicraft.

PAOLA AND PAOLO STACCIOLI. PASSAGES
September 30th - December 3rd, 2017 Piazzale della Resistenza Scandicci (Florence) The town of Scandicci pays homage to its fellow citizens Paolo and Paola Staccioli, father and daughter, with a project curated by Marco Tonelli and realized within the ‘Toscanaincontemporanea 2017’ event. Paolo Staccioli’s large bronze and ceramic artworks will invade spaces in the outskirts of town, the Tramway station and the New Center by Richard Rogers. In the Auditorium hall will be placed a wooden platform crowded by the forty ceramic luster painted figures by Paolo and by 15 groups of objects in enameled ceramics by Paola.
Biannual European Exhibition of Blacksmithing Art in Stia
From August 31st to September 3rd takes place the 22nd Edition of the wrought iron handicraft exhibition. With over forty exhibitors and more than 100 blacksmiths, the event is the most important appointment in the field in Europe, offering an extraordinary opportunity to meet and compare notes for craftsmen coming from around the world who keep the tradition of wrought iron handicraft alive.

Artigianato&aperitivo: on June 20th our last very “summery” itinerary: piazzas, sandals and beer.
On June 20th, Artigianato&Aperitivo says good-bye with the last itinerary of this first series. It will be a meeting with a summer theme: we will end in style with a visit to the Piazze of the Oltrarno, a tour amongst history, architecture and interesting figures. We meet at 6:00 PM at Piazza Pitti.
Artigianato&aperitivo: June 6th at 5:30PM urban trekking meeting in the Oltrarno
On June 6th, “Artigianato & aperitivo” will make room for “The gardens of the Oltrarno and to Beneforti’s art of restoration.” The initiative, promoted by Artex and “Andare a Zonzo,” includes a special stop at the Giardino delle Rose (the Rose Garden) where, accompanied by an expert guide, the history and the secrets of other gardens will be revealed. The itinerary will continue at the discovery of the historic and precious art of restoration, with a visit to the “Beneforti, Conservazione e Restauro di Opere d’Arte” workshop. The walk will end with a drink at “Volume” in the Piazza Santo Spirito. Meeting at 5:30PM at Piazzale Michelangelo.

Here we are at the fourth appointment with the event Artigianato&aperitivo: we meet on April 26th at 6:00PM in via Giano della Bella, 20. We will discover the history of a lesser known corner of Florence, the “Vecchio Conventino” (the old little convent) and we will visit the wood decoration workshops of Tommaso De Carlo to end our tour with a before dinner drink at Dolce Vita Firenze.
