From September 15th to the 26th, more than 150 works of masterful artisans from Arezzo.
A showcase of quality artistic handicraft with one of a kind pieces created by the bottegas of Arezzo: Ceramics, cast iron, stone artifacts, decoration, wood carving and jewelry making. The artifacts on display show a path of research and innovation, of originality, quality and taste without forgetting the shapes and styles of the historical-artistic heritage of the territory on which the artistic bottegas operate.
The public, besides visiting the Exhibition, will be able to make purchases during the days of the Fiera del Perdono, an event that attracts every year in Terranuova more than three-hundred thousand visitors.
The Exhibition combines handicraft and culture: in cooperation with “Salviamo Ganghereto,” project for the restoration of the precious terracotta triptych depicting the Madonna surrounded by the Saints Nicholas and Peter, a work attributed to Agnolo di Polo in the Church of Ganghereto.
The Exhibition “I Mestieri dell’Arte tra Tevere ed Arno” (The artistic crafts between the Tiber and the Arno) is organized by the CNA Arezzo and the Confartigianato Imprese Arezzo in cooperation with the Comune di Terranuova Bracciolini and with the sponsorship of the Provincia di Arezzo and of the Camera di Commercio di Arezzo.
