Master Goldsmith Mauro Bandinelli trained at the Porta Romana Art Institute in Florence, in the goldsmithing department. It was there that he learned to love the Florentine Renaissance. His sensibilities were so close to those of the artists and craftsmen of the time that he absorbed all their inspiration, their appreciation for beauty, and their devotion to harmony, which are hallmarks of his style. He completed his apprenticeship in various artisan workshops, and in 1988 he opened his own goldsmith's shop in the village of Strada in Chianti. Since then, his mind and hands have created authentic and elegant objects: just looking at them is enough to recognize their classic and inspired touch, simply unmistakable.
