Poggio Primo

Poggio Primo is located in the heart of Tuscany, in the municipality of Cerreto Guidi. Its vineyards dominate the gentle hills of Poggio Tempesti, in the iconic Chianti region, and extend over about 10 hectares surrounding the company’s main headquarters. Poggio Primo was born from the desire for redemption of its founder, Urviano, who with determination and willpower created this small enterprise in 1956, leaving his hometown and moving to the place where the company’s main headquarters are still located. Over the years, in order to keep up with the times, the company has been modernized with increasingly innovative winemaking methods, while always keeping an eye on the tradition and authenticity that have always distinguished their products.
