The business, born in 1955 as an art studio, inserts itself in the old Florentine tradition of artistic artisan work boasting a private national and international clientele. The shop has remained a small artisan studio which however today, thanks to the experience, passion and attention to detail, is capable of offering services of impeccable quality for the creation of frames; from the production of artistic frames made to size for any model, designed by us or at a client’s request, to the creation of the gouache gilding in fine gold, silvering and meccatura, to the restoration of wooden and paste frames. Among the most significant works: Frame (7mx5m) for the painting "Grisoni" preserved at the Uffizi Gallery of Florence; Restorations for the Vatican City; Frame for the "Nativita'" of Domenico del Ghirlandaio altar-piece at the Basilica of S. Lorenzo in Florence, and other restorations for the same basilica.
Bottega Maselli is open from Monday to Saturday from 8 to 13 and from 15.30 to 20.
