Caterina Perrone her early studies began at the Academy of Art, where she learnt the techniques of life and figure drawing, painting, engraving and decoratin. She continued her studies during several years of experience in a studio of architecture, design and decoration. Her objects are unique pieces of artistic design, such as small items of furniture, occasional tables, decorative panels, lamps and anamorphic art on walls or panels.
She uses natural and high-tech materials, decorated with mixed techniques, including traditional ones such as encaustic and gilding, finished with wax and protective varnishes. Her pieces are, first and foremost, artistic and decorative, but also created to be used. Caterina Perrone’s work can be seen at art and design galleries.
