Lapis is a youthful family firm, with an activity firmly rooted in the experience of four generations that have continuously developed their knowledge in the sphere of geology and the research and working of ornamental stone (marble and onyx), and semi-precious stones (amethyst, malachite, lapislazuli, tiger’s eye, jasper and quartz). The working of the stones is aimed at the creation of precious floor and wall coverings and furnishing accessories, such as consoles, inlays, sculptures, goblets, vases, fireplaces, obelisks, fountains, lamps and table decorations. The skilful choice of materials and the expertise of the workmanship make these creations of elevated artistic quality superbly unique. Lapis also designs and makes objects to commission Collective shows: Gift Show, New York (1995 and 2004); Inorghenta, Munich (1999); House & Garden, London (1999 e 2003); Maison & Objet, Paris (2000); International Gift Show, Atlanta (2004).
