The pasta maker S.I.C.A.S was founded in Grosseto in the eighties. At first, the activity catered only to the local vendors’ market offering with fresh products; later we started using the deep-freeze process, and ultimately we entered a wider market with the production of frozen filled pasta, pre-cooked dishes and sauces, always with a focus on hand made, artisanal products. This has proven to be a winning choice and has afforded us a tremendous growth, including the achievement of the BRC certification. Recently we have chosen to make our products using the short distribution chain, using only Tuscan ingredients and making pasta with ancient grains, also in observance of the Regional Law.
