Buccellato Taddeucci

It's possible to travel through time, thanks to the work of our ancestors who lovingly passed down to us the ancient recipes and knowledge of our Lucchese tradition. Today, just as back then, we can rediscover the sweets of our region and our past, enjoying the same flavors our ancestors savored centuries ago, faithfully prepared to keep our history alive. By selecting the best ingredients that honor the careful pursuit of authenticity, we are committed to upholding tradition while also working on innovation, creating excellent sweets that are 'children' of our ancient history—innovative and tasty, yet always tied to the authenticity typical of traditional pastry.
Besides the now famous buccellato, which has won numerous awards, how could one resist the PanPuccini or the cookies with the fabulous pistachio treats, cantuccini, ricciarelli, pinolate, quaresimali, brutti ma buoni, and many more? Or how not be tempted by the unique panforti, the fragrant nougats, and our chocolates? Thanks to creativity, passion, and love for the art of pastry over these 139 years of activity, we have also received noteworthy official recognitions, including the recent review by the famous gastronome and New York Times critic, Mimi Sheraton, who included our Ancient Buccellato in her book, 'The 1000 Foods You Must Eat Before You Die'. The Taddeucci family, in fact, boasts prestigious awards for the high professional standards they have achieved throughout their long history and for having hosted famous and royal figures, like Prince Charles of England, who have visited Lucca and tasted our specialties, giving recognition and credit to the tradition of our beautiful city, which is also world-famous for its commitment to preserving and keeping the local identity alive.
