In 1858 Antonio Mattei opened his business for the production and sale of the typical almond biscuits packed in the classic blue bag. His original recipe is still kept as a secret of the Pandolfini family which inherited the old bakery in 1908. Opening days: from Tuesday to Sunday. Closed on Monday. Opening hours: from Tuesday to Friday, 08.00AM – 07.30PM (non-stop opening time); on Saturday, 08.00AM – 01.00PM / 03.30 – 07.30PM; on Sunday, 08.00AM – 01.00PM (Open on second Sunday of month also from 03.30PM to 07.30PM).
