Azienda Agricola La Querce

The farm is located on a beautiful hill overlooking Impruneta in the heart of the Chianti Colli Fiorentini production area and covers a total area of forty-two hectares, where vineyards and olive groves are cultivated, harvesting the primary products of our land: grapes and olives. The cultivation minimizes chemical interventions to achieve the best balance between soil and plant in order to produce high-quality products. La Querce is a certified organic farm that has been sensitive to environmental issues and sustainable production processes for years. The company has two cellars. The wine-making cellar, measuring one hundred sixty square meters, contains fermentation tanks and stainless steel vats, all capable of having a temperature controlled by a central unit. There is also a room located mostly underground, maintained at an appropriate temperature, used for the storage of bottles during aging. Under the villa, there is the aging cellar where the barriques are located, a historic wine cellar, and a tasting room. The goal is to create high-quality products, adopting the formula that ensures a balance between soil, plants, and people, the "terroir", to produce excellent wines and outstanding extra virgin olive oil. For visits to our vineyards and our cellar, which end with a tasting of our wine and oil, prior booking is mandatory; the duration of the wine tour with tasting is about 1 hour. The tasting of our products will be accompanied by a small gastronomic proposal. During the tour and tasting, the basic processes for the production of our products will be explained, detailing their characteristics and peculiarities.
