In 1979, Livia started her handicraft business creating collector’s dolls. With time, thanks also to the help of her husband, the painter Talò, she turned exclusively towards the production of ceramics. In her workshop, located in the old part of Porto Azzurro, Livia is involved in each work phase taking care of the traditional processes of majolica. Her husband on the other hand, after having started his artistic activity as a painter and sculptor, is involved in the Raku technique, which he has been practicing for the past twenty years. He is very careful in the research on material and colour effects which, taken from his paintings, are transferred to the ceramics, in a diversity of material but with similar aesthetic ends.
