In the heart of Tuscany, a few kilometres from Florence, you can find the handicraft workshop of ‘Ceramiche Borgioli’ which, still now, produces its own objects following the ancient traditions of the Florentine Renaissance. In fact, this area during that period was the fulcrum for the development of the art of ceramics and it is still now an important artistic centre. The system is the same as hundreds of years ago; an object is never identical to another one and each creation has its own footprint and personality. Though following the ancient art, the masters of the Ceramiche Borgioli workshop create their own shapes to which they add the most appropriate decoration.
