Francesca Caltabiano

Francesca Caltabiano, designer from Florence, has always been fond of minerals, jewels, cinema and fashion. In 1989, she graduated in FIT in New York. She graduated as gemologist at the GIA New York, where she worked for several years as a gemologist. Her jewels are expression of her interests: movies, fashion and contemporary art. In 1993, back in Italy, she began to collaborate with some of the most prestigious jewelry firms, and during her frequent trips, she sought new forms, trends, and ideas that eventually shaped her collections. In 2007, Francesca started a new path as a jewel and bijoux "creator". Her imaginary fairy worlds and beloved songs of her childhood transformed into imaginative collections of "toy-jewels", created with enamel, pearls, bronze and silver.
