He received his education at the School of Art of Florence under the guidance of the great xylograph artist Pietro Parigi. Later, Felice Botta continued his path as man and artist discovering increasingly more the “truth in simplicity”. This is why he was awarded, for a series of objects for didactics, eleven times the prestigious European mark “spiel gut” (Good Toy); in addition he was selected for the Compasso d'oro in 1970 and participated with his objects in the 14th Triennale of Milan. With his original sculptures made with poor materials, above all recovery materials, ha participated in many exhibitions in various cities, Italian and foreign, among which Tokyo (1985-86), Naples (1988), New York (1992). Felice Botta loves his woods, which he researches, finds, archives, up to the phase where he selects them for each work, guaranteeing the origin, without adding or taking anything. Always following his love and respect for nature, with great passion for poor materials and for the continuing research of what is simple, he discovers the poor and recycled paper, materials that are adequate to his feeling of being the creator.
