Laboratorio Artistico Luca

Luca Pollai was born on 1966 in Siena, where he still lives. He developed his artistic inclination attending and graduating at the State School of Art Duccio di Boninsegna in his birth town. At the same time he studied music, graduating in Corno, at the Music School R. Franci. In 1996 he opened the Laboratorio Artistico Luca in the old part of Siena, in Santa Caterina, where he started making household and gift items and got involved in graphics. The technical knowledge of the great masters of the past and his creativity lead him to operate in many fields: pictorial decoration on wood and similar, lacquer, cold decoration on glass, silkscreen printing on wood, leaf gilding, paintings on fabric and pictorial reproduction of works of art. All this accompanied also by the use of more modern techniques applied to household and gift items, creating logos and prototypes for furnishings.
