Le Sete di Paola di Paola Giuntini

Workshop founded in 2006 by Paola Giuntini specializes in creating unique items made either of silk, wool and cotton hand,-painted with different techniques. I started painting on silk in West Africa, where I lived for over ten years and where I still take inspiration in the creation of colors and shapes. I’m specialized in the creation of original and uniques models of scarves, kaftans and shirts. In Norway I studied on how felting merino wool on painted silk to obtain a fabric I use for scarves, stoles and dresses. Going into my shop, housed in an old monastery of 1300, you can meet many other items such as paintings on silk, wool tapestries, unique items in painted cotton, earrings and necklaces made of felt. All items are made with natural colors, silks and wools hand washable. I’m available to explain, in various languages, as I create my items.
