Museo della Battaglia e di Anghiari

The history of the lost fresco by Leonardo and the famous battle, are presented in this unique and suggestive museum. Retracing the history of the village of Anghiari, a Tuscan jewel, the visitor will be able to follow the stages of the development of the town: from the pre-historic signs to the Roman antiquities, from the invention of the firearms to the famous Battle of Anghiari. Thanks to these finds, to the artifacts, to the recreations and the testimonies, the museum offers a plunge into the history and the art of this town.
