Silvia Beghe' was born in Poggibonsi (Si). She attended the Art Institute of Siena. After obtaining her diploma in 1980, she opened her own workshop. In the following years she attended a workshop in Faenza and a course at the ceramics school of Gijon in Spain. She has taken part in various events in Italy and abroad. Among the most important were two national competitions for artistic ceramics in Assemini (Cagliari), in 1986 and 1988, where she won prizes and where the articles presented were purchased by the Museo della Ceramica of the same city. Another of her works was purchased by the Ceramics Museum of Strasbourg. In 1998 she created two panels which were inserted in a palazzo in Piazza del Duomo in San Gimignano. In 2004 another of her panels was inserted in the wall running around the Centro Bagolaro, again in San Gimignano. She has taken part in various shows and international events.
