The historical Terracotta manufacture Poggi Ugo realizes since 1919 more than 1500 different articles for exterior and interior use, using the famous Impruneta clay. The range of products encompasses classical, modern/design models, created in collaboration with international architects and designers. The complete production is handmade and frost resistant up to -30°C. The masterpiece “L’Anello” - an around 8 m high Terracotta ring - by the artist and landscaper Mauro Staccioli, has been placed directly in front of the building of Poggi Ugo, from where it is possible to appreciate a particularly wonderful landscape. Moreover, the Land Art project “Birth by Spear” by the new yorker artist Alan Sonfist has been realized to recreate the primordial forest, to honor the Olive tree.
