The flavours of traditional cooking live again in the cookware of the company Vulcania. Since 1911, Vulcania in Colle Val d'Elsa has produced terracotta cookware, to slowly cook meat sauces and braised meats as was done many years ago. The flavours of traditional cooking live on thanks to the earthenware pots of the Vulcania company. Terracotta cookware, with the typical made in Italy design, are deliberately designed for cooking meat sauces, beans, and braised and stewed meats like they were once made. Vulcania was founded in 1911 in Colle Val d'Elsa, Tuscan city located half way between Siena and Florence having an antique industrial vocation, and since then has been making terracotta kitchenware, all in natural and very resistant materials. The enamel's thin cracks on the pots are completely normal and are the absolute guarantee that the raw material is "fireclay". These are pots made thanks to an artisan know how.
